Two Months

Elliot is getting so big!  We go in for his two month appointment on Monday.  I'm excited to see how much he's grown - not so excited for the shots.

He is doing a great job with his neck control.  Most of the time we don't need to support it anymore, but we're still being cautious since he's so little.  His eyes track great and he really locks in on you when he wants to.  Whenever Derek is nearby, Elliot always seems to find him and will just stare him down.  It's so cute.

He is getting better at tummy time, though is still not a huge fan.  When he kicks hard enough he is really close to rolling over and it's adorable!  Elliot is a strong little guy and is doing great in his new bumbo seat that we got last week.  He is quite the smiler and lately has been smiling at you even before you try to get the smile out of him.  He is starting to "talk" a lot more and almost sounds like he's having a conversation with you sometimes.

Have I mentioned how great of a sleeper Elliot is?  I totally didn't expect him to be so great this early!  For the last two weeks he has slept on average 7 hours a night.  It is incredible.  Last night he slept for 8 hours 40 minutes.  Amazing!  What a rock star.

We love this little boy so much.  We're so glad he joined our family!  He was so worth the wait!
